As a subscriber to Which? Magazine I write regarding your publication dated ……………, this contained a very comprehensive survey of mortgage repayment methods and made some recommendations, labelling them as ‘Best Buys’ that were suitable for all borrowers at the time. I acted upon what I considered to be sound financial advice and bought a mortgage endowment from………………… This endowment is now showing a shortfall according to the ‘red’ letter I have recently received from the life insurance company.

It is a fact that I have bought vacuum cleaners, washing machines and various other consumer products as a direct result of the research your magazine has carried out, although I have been happy with our Bosch washing machine and electric drill I am most dissatisfied with the endowment I bought on your recommendation.

Having tried, and failed, to claim compensation using the letter generated during my visit to your ‘endowmentaction’ website I now ask you to advise me what to do next.
